I was a guide at the Aga Khan Gardens. First Impressions are really important and I did not like my smile. I came to Dr. Kherani because I was told that if there was someone who could help me, it would be Dr. Kherani. We talked about what I wanted my smile to look like and the dental solutions that would help me achieve my goal. Through a combination of crowns, bridges and bonding, I found my new smile that that I now share with every new person I meet.

I want to introduce you to Jim. Jim has been my patient for many years.

And for many years, I have been talking about physiologic dentistry and
occlusion (the way your neck and jaw muscles are impacted by your teeth and how they fit together).

Jim said, “If it is not broken, don’t fix it.”

Then, Jim’s front tooth broke. The pressure on his front teeth finally caused his tooth to break. Jim told me that he wanted his smile back and asked what we could do.

We inserted an implant to replace his lost tooth and applied some physiologic principles to make sure the pressures on his teeth would not cause the same problem again.

In addition, he did not want a new bright white smile. It’s better, he said, to have a smile that looked like it had been with him since day one.

Now, Jim has a smile that is perfect for him.

Dr. Kherani has been my dentist for years! I followed her from her previous practice when she moved. She has taken care of the dental needs for my Husband and children too. I would not go anywhere else. In my line of work I am in front of people all day. They all saw, and now see, my smile. Dr. Kherani listened to what I had to say, helped me find the smile that fit my vision and now I have a smile I previously could only dream of.

I found Dr Kherani through her website. I was having trouble chewing and did not like my smile. I had not been as careful as I could have been and some of my teeth were in bad shape. I was self conscious of my smile and eating healthy foods hurt because my teeth were so sensitive.

The first thing Dr Kherani told me we needed was that because I had decayed and discolored teeth in my mouth it was a recipe for other problems and infection. No Judgement, and a lot of concern for my dental and medical health if the infection was allowed to spread through my body.

The first stage was to remove the infected teeth and getting a denture to allow my gums and bone to heal. This would also help my body become healthy again. Next will be implant supported dentures which will increase my confidence and ability to chew food.

I am so happy that I have started this journey under Dr. Kherani’s guidance and with her support. I cannot wait for my new smile to reveal itself to me and the world.

When our old dentist of 30 years retired we found Dr Kherani. That is when our journey to a new smile, and a new revitalized ‘me’, began.
Old fillings, old crowns, broken down bridges and missing teeth described our smiles.

At each step of the way Dr Kherani was there. She explained every step, answered all our questions and was not happy until each of us said we were happy with the smiles she planned to give us. Not only did she give us a beautiful smiles, she also realigned our jaws (which she called “occlusion”) and took away the pain and difficulty chewing we had been living with for years.

From the first moment Dr Kherani and her team made us feel comfortable, welcome and treated each of us as a valued friend.
